The main characteristics of steel turbid circulating water are high temperature, high suspended solids content, and high oil content, along with numerous impurities: suspended matter such as iron oxide, mill scale, fine iron chips, emulsified oil, lubricating oil, carbon particles, etc., which can easily cause nozzle clogging, filter scaling, and promote the development of scaling and corrosion.
HS-580 not only has excellent performance in preventing calcium carbonate scaling but also effectively disperses suspended solids, mill scale, and oil deposits. It also demonstrates strong resistance to high-temperature decomposition, making it an effective product for preventing scaling and corrosion in turbid circulating water. When used in combination with flocculants, demulsifiers, and oil-water separators, better results can be achieved.
Usage Method:
HS-580 dosage: 20-40 mg/L based on make-up water volume, or 1–3 mg/L when added to circulating water. Select the appropriate dosage according to the circulating water quality. Continuously feed into the circulating water using a metering pump.
Packaging and Storage:
HS-580 is packaged in 25 kg plastic drums. Store in a cool place with a shelf life of ten months. |
